EBE 85 is part of the family of EBE profiles and is the answer for the most demanding requests for heat and sound insulation. With the innovative thermal break technology in polyurethane and polyamide, EBE creates strong structural profiles with reduced sections.
The tightness of the doors and windows is guaranteed by a double gasket system for the doors and by an open joint system with three sealing levels for the windows. Thanks to the wide variety of opening solutions and the complete range of accessories, the EBE profiles offer numerous possible variations to the window design.
The performance of the EBE thermal break system has been tested by the best European certification laboratories in accordance with current EN 14351-1 regulations.
System and Performance
The EBE 85 door is an integrated system of accessories, gaskets, and thermal break profiles with a depth of 85 mm which allows for a wide range of possible variants: square, rectangular, curved, or shaped with insulating glazing up to 40 mm thick. The sealing characteristics of the doors are guaranteed by a double seal system on three sides and an automatic guillotine seal under the base.
Size and Variations
The EBE 85 door is internally and externally flush-mounted. The solution with weld-on or stylus hinges has a side section of 109 mm. For three-wing hinges or concealed or fully integrated hinges, the side section increases to 134 mm.
Handles
Vitruvio handles are available in paintable raw brass, burnished brass, polished chrome brass, and polished brass. The medium square version is also available in corten steel.
The system also allows the installation of many handles on the market.
Hinges
The weld-on hinges are available in galvanized steel and stainless steel. The three-wing hinges are adjustable and available in galvanized steel, stainless steel, and burnished stainless steel. The three-wing stylus hinge is also available in corten steel.
