Designed by Platt Architecture and constructed by Tyner Construction, French Broad Bend is a custom luxury residence nestled along a sweeping bend of the French Broad River just outside Asheville, North Carolina. Thoughtfully positioned to embrace panoramic river and mountain views, the home is a study in modern architecture that celebrates light, landscape, and the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor living.
A defining element of the design is its extensive use of glass. Throughout the home, expansive walls of glass, oversized fixed windows, and multi-panel sliding door systems by Eurostar Fenestration frame the surrounding scenery while dissolving the boundary between architecture and nature. From the soaring great room to the private primary suite and covered outdoor living spaces, every opening was carefully placed to maximize natural light, preserve uninterrupted views, and strengthen the connection to the home's remarkable setting.
